Brandon Kaufman is a filmmaker and writer based in Toronto currently pursuing his MFA in Film at York University. He is the creator and director of Local Colour, a short documentary web series made with CBC Arts.

His writing has appeared in Artforum, Frieze, The Guardian, MUBI Notebook, and other publications. He regularly contributes art criticism to the Toronto Star and hosts the screening series PARTY FAVOUR.
